Copy file DPWSOCKX.DLL should be copied to Heroes3 directory. This will fix problems with online games and will speed up launching of the game.

Launching - h3wog.exe

You have to exec config,When you start game for 1st time -> new game -> single/multi player -> WoG Options -> Load -> best_new_upgrades.dat

I strongly recommend generating new maps with build in generator. Cause usiing it on existing maps can cause script problems.
Generate XL maps to be able to see all new stuff (like new building and 8 level units) and see all what wog and new upgrades offer to you.
When you start map it will be wogified - press Yes/OK every time ;) Last thing are on screen options. 2 bonus secondary skills are turned on by default.

WoG works also via internet.
